This is the personal portfolio of Karmo Järv, at karmojarv.com. Throughout these terms, "I", "me" and "my" refer to Karmo Järv. You can reach me at contact@karmojarv.com. By browsing the site you agree to what follows. If you do not, please just close the tab.

This site exists to show my work with care, nothing more. It does not sell anything, ship anything, or ask you to make an account or a payment. There is no shop here, only a record of commercial work, music projects, objects and research. These terms simply keep things clear and fair for both of us.

You are welcome to browse for personal reference and to get in touch about work or commissions. Please do not use the site unlawfully, try to disrupt it, or access it other than through its normal pages.

The films, images, animations, objects, text and design on this site belong to me, or to the clients, artists, labels and studios the work was made with, such as FutureDeluxe. It is shown for portfolio purposes only. Please do not copy, reproduce, republish or use any of it commercially without my written permission. Commercial work carries the identity of the brands and studios it was made with, and music work that of the artists, so please respect that.

The site links to a few other places, such as Instagram, Behance, YouTube and the artists' and labels' own pages. Those are not under my control, so I cannot take responsibility for their content.

The site is offered as is. I keep it accurate and online as best I can, but cannot promise it will always be perfect or uninterrupted.

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, with the date above.

This is the privacy policy for karmojarv.com, the personal portfolio of Karmo Järv (based in London, United Kingdom, and Tallinn, Estonia). It explains the little data this site touches and how it is handled. In short: this is a simple portfolio, it does not sell anything, and it does not build profiles of visitors. Your data is treated with care.

The site does not ask you to sign in, does not run advertising, and does not collect personal information from you as you browse. The only time I receive your details is when you choose to get in touch by email, in which case I have your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write.

If you get in touch, I use your message only to reply and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss the work. That is on the basis of responding to your own request. I do not sell data, run aggressive marketing, or track you unnecessarily.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and email to contact@karmojarv.com is routed by Cloudflare and delivered to my inbox on Google (Gmail). Like any host and mail provider, they process basic technical information needed to serve the site and carry email securely, such as your IP address and browser type, under their own privacy terms. Some of these providers operate outside the EEA, including in the United States, with appropriate safeguards in place. I do not share your information with anyone else.

This site sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, so no consent banner is needed. While you browse, your browser keeps a couple of small notes for the current tab only, such as which project you came back from, so the page can return you to the right place. They are cleared when you close the tab and nothing identifies you. If I ever add analytics in the future, I will add a consent step and update this page first.

Email correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful, and no longer. You can ask me to delete our exchange at any time.

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Just email contact@karmojarv.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, for example the ICO in the United Kingdom or the Andmekaitse Inspektsioon in Estonia.
