AppleFlora

A study in botanical precision. For Apple, we rebuilt the logo from the native flowers of the Perth region (kangaroo paw, Hakea francisiana, golden wattle, pincushion hakea and purple flag), each selected for how strongly it reads as Western Australian and how its shape could trace the logo's outline. Every flower was researched and recreated in Houdini to the highest level of detail, from the fine hairs on the kangaroo paw to the curling styles of the Hakea francisiana, and animated for social. Designed for walls and doors, the work was completed but never released.
